Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 27th at the Deuel County Good Samaritan Chapel in Clear Lake, SD with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery, Gary, SD. The Houseman Funeral Home in Clear Lake, SD is entrusted with the arrangements.
Beatrice (Millerbernd) Bailey was born on June 30, 1934 to Albert and Anna (Strei) Millerbernd in Rosen, Minnesota where she grew up and attended school. She was united in marriage to Norman Bailey and they resided near Canby and then Gary, SD where Beatrice worked various jobs. Beatrice and Norman have been residing in the Deuel County Good Samaritan Center in Clear Lake, SD. Beatrice R. Bailey died Monday, April 23, 2012 in the Sanford Hospital, Sioux Falls, SD at the age 77.
She will be missed by her family and her many card and Bingo friends. Beatrice will also be remembered for her lovely embroidery work.
Beatrice is survived by her husband of 52 years, Norman Bailey; brothers: Bernard, Lawrence, Lester, James and Michael; sisters: Jeanette and Ann and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sr. Rigine (Marie).
